On his first visit to the big city, a rural young man, Zeke, becomes the prime murder suspect when his brother’s lover, a painter, is killed and her paintings are stolen. Unknown to Zeke, the painter’s agent was supposed to kill her the next day to complete an international scheme to raise her paintings’ value, now worth millions.
