French photographer Xavier Hubert Brierre traveled to Gabon, Africa, and set up a mirror in several locations of the jungle to capture animals walking by. In this video, they caught their hilarious reactions on camera.
There can be no better or worse sight than your own reflection, but these vain animals seemed very keen to admire themselves. Innovative French photographer Xavier Hubert Brierre travelled to Gabon with his wife and set up a mirror in several locations in order to capture animals walking by.
The video results are stunning, with one of the more amusing reactions being from two leopards. One of them takes several looks at the mirror before it is attacked by a second leopard, who calls off the ambush when he too spots Xavier’s mirror.

I’ve been a big fan of Jumpy and think he’s the most impressive extreme athletic dog out there. Check out his amazing stunts compilation in an earlier post of mine here. In this video, Jumpy has found his human athletic soul mate, and they do a wonderful romping duet in a park that is nicely captured by an excellent slow motion cinematographer. The flying human is Alex Duong–a professional Parkour (info below) athlete and actor.
The cinematographer is Darren Dyk. Enjoy this canine-human whirling ballet.
Yep, this video is sure short but sweet–just 9 seconds. This puppy reminds me of my dog when he was a puppy who was first learning how to catch. Yeah he was just as pathetic.
yoga & pets = amusing, annoying, adorable | If yoga is about controlling the mind and body, there is no greater test than practicing with a dog or cat on the loose.
The Adam Carolla Show is the top ranked comedy podcast and Guinness World Records holder for the most downloaded podcast ever. Adam shares his thoughts on current events, interviews celebrities and rants about whatever’s bugging him today. Which is usually plenty.
The Adam Carolla Show is one of the podcasts I’ve listened to for years, although I usually only listen when he interviews a comedian or celeb I enjoy. He can be a ranting handful and an annoyance to my more pc correct friends, but he’s usually entertaining and quite funny when his rant-machine is racing and firing on all cylinders.
I recommend trying any of his podcast episodes that contain any of these recurring guests: Larry Miller, David Alan Grier, Dana Gould, Greg Fitzsimmons. You can read my post about Gould’s podcast here.
Here’s a good article about the podcast empire Carolla is building…
By Michael Wolf
As a longtime fan of Adam Carolla’s, I was both relieved and excited in February of 2009 when the comedian announced he would launch a podcast.
Relieved because, like many, I enjoyed the comedian’s hilarious rants about pretty much everything under the sun, and the recent cancellation of his syndicated radio show meant that I wouldn’t be hearing him on air anytime soon.
Excited because I thought it could mean something big for the podcast market. After all, while podcasts had grown steadily since the term was coined in 2004, they hadn’t quite fulfilled their early hype for a variety of reasons, and I thought Carolla’s entry could possibly bring more listeners to the medium.
Greg Proops is certainly not the smartest man in the world, nor is he the funniest for that matter, but there is never a dull moment and he never fails to entertain.
The Who’s Line is It Anyway? veteran and improv champ takes on a live audience every week, discussing current events, celebrity culture, and his personal life all on a whim. It’s bold, funny, and showcases Proops’ innate comedic knack that is only getting better with age.
Recent episode – Live from the Laugh Stop in Calgary, Greg speaks on snow, scandal and Sweet Caroline. Direct download: SM239.mp3 . Here’s a funny video too…

The Facetune app lets users remove blemishes, diminish dark circles, smooth skin and create many effects that normally take considerable Photoshop training to master.
Facetune by Roy Furchgott
One reason celebrities look so polished in photos is that there are Photoshop artists to smooth every wrinkle, minimize every pore and erase every blemish. The rest of us? We have to live with poorly lighted mobile phone selfies. An app called Facetune helps you look your Hollywood best, even in photos taken on mobile phones.

The Bugle is one of my favorite comedy podcasts. For several years, I’ve been enjoying this weekly satirical news podcast created by comedians John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman.
You may know Oliver from his job as a correspondent on John Stewart’s The Daily Show, for which he won an Emmy in 2009, and his own HBO show.
And you may know Zaltzman from, uh, uh, let’s see, hmm, give me a minute… (crickets chirping) err, maybe… just a minute (paint drying)… uh… ok, I don’t know what the hell Zaltzman might have done or be known for or is up to, but I like him plenty and laugh at him plenty more.
John is located in New York and Andy is somewhere in Great Britain, and through the marvels of modern technology, they get together every week to create this perfectly preposterous podcast.
Here a blurb they tarnished Wikipedia with… Oliver and Zaltzman, with their combined height of 3.59 metres, will together canoe through the murky swamp of big stories, small stories and assorted hogwash that inundates our daily world. Comprising news, sport, comment, analysis, other stuff, The Bugle is the newspaper of the future, before the future actually happens.
